Before we started this project, the shower walls and floor as well as the entire counter top had 4 x 4 yellow ceramic tiles. Demolition included the removal of two walls closing in the shower space thus creating an open expansion in a small bathroom. A jetted tub was added in an otherwise unused space. Several natural stone materials were used in combination to give the bathroom a spa like feeling. Tumbled travertine in multiple sizes was combined with a detailed mosaic boarder, along with a granite that pulled the colors together to create a defined masculine design and feel. Copper sinks were used complimenting the oil rubbed bronze plumbing fixtures. Light fixtures were mounted over the mirror for added drama and ambiance.
